Installation guide

Launch & operation

Move from an example to an approved installation with clear ownership.

1. Agree the brief

Choose one customer task, audience, product and next step. Record the catalogue or rate inputs, required connections, expected participation, intended date and approval contact.

Qind confirms installation scope, fee and delivery responsibilities through a proposal. There is no universal showroom price or automatic live-service activation.

2. Review the configured journey

Test approved data, representative inputs, edge cases, mobile and desktop layouts, keyboard use and the customer takeaway. Verify every required connection in the agreed environment before launch.

  • Approve branding, assumptions, terms and privacy wording.
  • Confirm where enquiries go and who handles them.
  • Agree catalogue or rate updates, support and correction handling.

Worked example: a retailer's materials planner

A fictional retailer wants a branded Room Refresh link and a downloadable materials brief. The first installation helps a customer plan paint and flooring; it does not promise live stock or a checkout connection.

The retailer supplies approved product names, pack sizes, prices, coverage and waste assumptions, brand assets and the page the customer should visit next. Qind configures the agreed planner, rounding, branding and takeaway, then shares the journey for review.

  • The retailer checks a known room against its own expected quantities and full-pack rounding.
  • Both teams review the mobile journey, downloadable brief and destination links, including unusual measurements.
  • Before approval, record who maintains changing prices and assumptions, what data leaves the planner and who handles support. Agree any live connection separately.

3. Keep ownership clear

The business supplies and approves its service information and customer policies. The proposal states what Qind configures, hosts or operates and what the business maintains.

Review changes, incident handling, renewals and data retention at the agreed checkpoints. A passing demo or local test is not proof that production connections are ready.
