Overture Maps Places
Our initial source is the September 23, 2026 patch release (2026-09-23.1), using its current taxonomy and basic-category schema and stable GERS identifiers. It combines multiple contributors; each profile lists its source providers and licenses.
The initial extraction is the rectangle 17.80–18.42° east, 59.18–59.58° north. “Stockholm area” describes this extraction, not an exact municipal boundary. Locality labels come from source addresses; they have not been independently validated against municipal boundaries. Coverage is incomplete.
Attribution and licenses
Includes data from Meta, Microsoft, PinMeTo and DAC under CDLA Permissive 2.0; Foursquare under Apache License 2.0; and AllThePlaces under CC0 1.0. Overture-generated confidence observations also remain traceable. Unreviewed sources are quarantined.
Required source notices are maintained with the import release. Source notices · Apache 2.0 license · CDLA Permissive 2.0 license
Quality, freshness and corrections
We reject records without usable identity, point geometry, country, current taxonomy or reviewed source provenance, and use a configured existence-confidence threshold of 0.75. Confidence is not proof of ownership or accuracy.
Import time is shown separately from the source’s supplied field observation and an owner’s confirmation. A confidence recalculation is not a business update. We do not invent ratings, opening hours, images, prices, stock or availability.
Approved owner fields are protected from bulk refresh. A missing record is not automatically considered closed. Reports and ownership claims require review; publication can be paused for privacy or accuracy concerns.

Exact street addresses and coordinates for home-service, professional, health and unclassified records are withheld from public profiles pending a privacy review. These records are excluded from radius and distance searches, and hidden address terms cannot match public searches. Use town or business-name search to find them. This reduces residential-address risk but is not proof that every other source address is a public venue.
The importer does not collect source email addresses, government identifiers or owner credentials. Sole-trader and private-address risks need review before public activation. Do not submit personal identity numbers or private documents in a public correction report.
Contact bo@qind.net for a privacy concern. Find-specific processing, retention and account disclosures must be approved before account or public-report activation.

SCB business-register enrichment requires registered API access and a separate license and personal-data review. No SCB records are currently imported. Legal organizations and consumer-facing places remain different entities.
